In Training for Wimbledon – 17th June 2025
Great fun was had by everyone as they got in training for the Wimbledon “Tournament” to be held on 15th July 2025. Using balloons for tennis balls and paper plates for racquets, we played individual “keepie uppie” and batting between pairs. All good practice for the big day in July!
Easter Party – 2025
The Forget-Me-Not Café celebrated Easter again this year with lots of fun and Easter treats. Click here to read all about it and see some great photographs of the afternoon.
Halloween Party – 29th October 2024
We had a Spooky Halloween Tuesday at the cafe on 31st October and everyone had a great time especially when playing a game of catch the scary ping pong balls in tubs worn on their heads!
For tea, one of our amazing volunteers had prepared scary cakes and eyes set in jelly and another dressed up for the event….
Ukulele Band – 15th October 2024
Ilminster Ukulele Band entertained us with songs old and new – what a fabulous way to round off the afternoon.
Awareness Day at Langport Surgery Open Day – 13th July 2024
On 13th July, Langport Surgery hosted a fabulous event with a whole host of activities and stalls selling hand crafted goods. The weather wasn’t as kind as it might have been but we were lucky enough to be inside (and not too far from the tea and cake stand!). We put on a display of photos and samples of the activities we use at the cafe and spoke to a wide range of people, young and old. Another great opportunity to spread the word about what we do.
Easter Party 2024
The Forget-Me-Not Café has recently enjoyed two visits from some of the children from Curry Rivel Primary School. The first time they came and entertained all the guests with some wonderful singing. And the next time, they presented their garden project and how they were helping the environment. Click here for the full story and more photos.

10th Anniversary Party – October 2022
The Forget-Me-Not Cafe celebrated its 10th Anniversary in October 2022 by throwing a party for all it’s clients and volunteers. It was a fabulous afternoon with special treats and some fun activities. Here’s to the next 10 Years!!!
